It's just a picture Carlo Borlenghi picked up
in Valencia during the America's Cup team meeting
in Valencia with 18 America’s Cup Teams, representing
nine countries.
A picture which allows the Swedish fans to hope
as the Victory Challenge has disappeared since the
end of the 31st America's Cup.
The latest news was in February when Bert Willborg
wrote "Victory Challenge’s future has not been
decided yet either".

The chances of Sweden mounting a second challenge
look good. The syndicate is packed up with only its
project manager Mats Johansson and two other team
members remaining in Auckland.
If Alinghi won the cup and it staged the event off
Europe, Johansson said there was a very good chance
Victory would be there.
Johansson said it would definitely be more attractive
for the syndicate's big sponsors - Tele2, Metro and
MTG - if the cup was held on the Mediterranean Sea.
"But we are also happy to come back because you have
all the facilities here and it is quite cheap to live."
Johansson said the sponsors were happy with the value
delivered by the cup and he suggested there was a
good chance they would continue to support the team.
"We have good support in Sweden and Scandinavia and
I am optimistic we will continue," he said. No final
decision will be made until after cup final. |

Victory Challenge have a close relationship with
the Team NZ and commentators speculated the Swedes
might now stay in Auckland to spend some time racing
against the Kiwis.
But head of operations Hugo Stenbeck, the son of the
late Jan Stenbeck, dispelled any such rumours at the
press conference after racing on Friday.
"As far as I know the base team is packing up the
equipment and booking plane tickets," said Stenbeck.
"I think they deserve a vacation and probably the
last thing on their mind is sailing."
For the Swedes, this is only the third Swedish challenge
for the America's Cup in history and the first campaign
for this crew. They have, however, spent numerous
hours training out on the Hauraki Gulf and have impressed
many with their performance and potential.
"Ross Blackman summed it up best when he said watch
out, you're going to catch America's Cup fever, and
I think that might have happened," said Stenbeck.
"I'd like to say yes (we'll be back), but we'll see."
