The fourth race of the Pro-Driver series of the Moët Cup has been abandoned, due to problems in the pre-start sequence in yesterday's race. The decision was made on Thursday morning by the Race Committee and agreed to by the International Jury and both teams.

The race schedule will be unchanged on Thursday, and the teams will re-sail the race later in the week, at a date and time to be determined. The score in the seven-race Pro-Driver series will now sit at 2-1 for Oracle BMW Racing.

The race schedule continues on Thursday with Race Five of the Pro-Driver series (Race 4 is to be re-sailed), followed by the Owner-Drivers series.

The racers can expect lighter conditions on Thursday, on a bright, sunny day in San Francisco.
