The Italian helmsman Paolo Cian and his Italian Challenge Team defeated Great Britain’s Chris Law and his Outlaws, 2-0, in a thrilling three-match final to win the inaugural Jeep Challenge today in Porto Cervo.

In semifinal action, Le Défi's Pierre Mas put Chris Law to work. After winning the first match yesterday, Chris Law's Outlaws were beaten by Le Défi's Pierre Mas in the second race.

In the third match, however, Law used his years of experience to out-duel his opponent and advance to the final.

In the other semifinal, Italian Challenge's Paolo Cian had no problems in beating John Cutler and his Mascalzone Latino. In fact he won by 2 races to zero.
