The 6th and 7th Louis Vuitton Acts that lead to the Louis vuitton Cup as well as the America's Cup have just ended and the following two are just three weeks away in Sicily.

Meanwhile, in Valencia construction is going on at a very rapid pace in order to have most of the infrastructure ready for 2006.

Valencia Sailing visited Port America's Cup this morning and captured the progress of all the construction going on :

-

Alinghi 's base is now at an advanced construction stage ;

-

All external construction at the immense BMW Oracle base is over. Construction teams are now solely working inside the building ;

-

A novelty since the Louis Vuitton Acts 4 & 5 two months ago is the Luna Rossa base ;

-

Emirates Team New Zealand has now the first steel beams of its base ;

-

K-Challenge's base is also rapidly advancing ;

-

The outlines of the future bases of Mascalzone Latino Team Capitalia and United Internet Team Germany are now visible ;

-

the new canal has almost reached Port America's Cup ;

-

Finally, the foundations of the definitive "Foredeck Club" are now visible.

Without any doubt, when construction is over, Valencia's harbor will provide an astonishing environment from where to enjoy the world's most prestigious sailing event. Within nine to ten months Valencia will truly become the world's sailing capital.
