While the Team is preparing day
and night, preparations for another possible campaign
are made in the background.
"Our premiere at the America's Cup is a continuous
learning process for all participants", said
Syndicate Head Michael Scheeren. "We can improve
in the most different areas and optimize all activities
almost every day".
"Against this background it would be only consequent
to plan another campaign. We would then have the
opportunity to apply our collected experiences and
realisations in the best way".
"The timing-factor is very important for a successful
participation in the America´s Cup", , Eberhard
Magg also confirmed. "It is therefore important
not to waste time while discussing the future of
Team Germany, but instead to step right into the
decision process today".
"If we want to use our technical know-how gathered
in Valencia at the best possible rate for another
campaign, we now have to work out the basic conditions
for a continuation thoroughly"
In order to arrange this decision process competently
and ideally, Team Germany puts his Technical Manager
Eberhard Magg in charge of this task, commencing
December 1st 2006. .
