First outing for the new SUI 91 (25/05/06) (source : Alinghi)
The newly built SUI 91 went out
for her maiden sail and the designers were watching.
"We're sailing SUI 91 for the first time and it's
really exciting", Manolo Ruiz de Elvira commented.
"Not much happens the first day and that is expected.
We basically check that all the systems are working
and that nothing breaks…so far so good!"
"All the sails have been up, so we are very pleased",
added Rolf Vrolijk. "Next we will configure the
boat for two boat testing."
