The new British Challenge Origin will be there for the 33e America's Cup whether it is in Europe or New Zealand.

After Tim Jeffery in this weekend's Daily Telegraph indicated that Sir Keith Mill would review his Challenge were the Cup not to stay in Europe or USA, Team Principal of Origin confirmed that the team would participate in at least two editions of the Cup.

"Whether the next America's Cup takes place in Valencia, Europe, USA or New Zealand, Team Origin has the intention of bidding for the 33rd America's Cup and ultimately aspiring to bring the Auld Mug back to British shores", he told Yachting World.

"The choice of venue will mean that we review some operational elements of our bid, such as the location of a team base, the marketing programmes we put in place and the structure of the preliminary Acts, but not our commitment to our overall goal."
