Rumours were flying around since few weeks that James Spithill could join Russell Coutts in the new Team Oracle.

Coutts was officially announced and presented as the new CEO and skipper of the 33rd America's Cup team while there is still no official confirmation of James Spithill, helmsman of Luna Rossa in the last America's Cup, joining BMW Oracle as their new helmsman.

Nevertheless, the two star sailors gave some credence to rumours after they were spotted last weekend, training onboard the BMW Oracle Swedish Match Racing boats.

According to the Latitude 38 magazine, they were apparently practicing match racing starts.
