Desafío Español to support Alinghi (24/05/07)
(source : La Vanguardia)

After being outed from the LVC, Agustin Zulueta announced his team would now support the Defender.

"Even though we have really good friends on Luna Russa Team, It's better for us if Alinghi win", Desafío team head said to the Spanish supporters.

Agustín Zulueta said he expected his Team to become the challenger of record for the second Swiss defense, as it is widely considered that the 33rd America's Cup will be held in Valencia again (in 2009) if Alinghi wins.

Moreover, it's murmured that, if Iberdrol has expressed its desire to continue its partnership with Desafío Español, the level of its commitments could be significantly influenced in case of Team New Zealand victory.
