The yersterday loss against BMW
Oracle Racing left Luna Rossa in the third place
of the "Big Three".
After they were announced by Cup commentators as
the most disappointing challenge in the 32nd America's
Cup, Luna Rossa were back at a more "normal"
rate during the round robin 2 to join the final
four.
"Our goal was the semifinals and that we were
focused on", Francesco de Angelis said. "It
doesn’t matter to be the first, the second or the
third. The only important thing is to be in the
four".
Considering the results obtained during the first
races, Luna Rossa is clearly not the favourite.
James Spithill and his crew were twice defeated
by BMW Oracle Racing and have lost one race against
Team New Zealand and Desafío Español.
"Each race will be difficult now and we are
well prepared or as well prepared as you can be"",
added de Angelis. "At the end, the difference
is in the slight details".
The first "slight detail"
could be the new bulb that Luna Rossa Challenge
intend to use during the semifinals and which should
be soon submit to Ken McAlpine and his team.
A slight detail that is hoped it would be summed
with others to do the difference in Semifinals.
