Mascalzone Latino Capitalia Team’s
new boat ITA 99 arrived in Valencia early Monday
morning.
The second of two new boats to be built for the
2007 campaign left Geen Marine boatyard in Lymington
(UK) on Wednesday to be trucked 1,300 km overland
to Spain.
As required by the ACC Rule, Ita 99 was built in
Italy by Marine Composite of Andora, Savona and
was then transferred to Green Marine where it underwent
the final fit-out.
According to the syndicate, the keel and the mast
will now be mounted, and then ITA 99 will be ready
for her first sail.
