Valencia is thinking about the future and what will happen with the space currently dedicated to host the America’s Cup.

After organising an "Ideas Contest" presen- ted in the Bienale de Venezia on October, 135 architects from 32 countries presented their proposals.

The space to fill is around 1.35 million square metres and includes what today is Port America’s Cup, part of the commercial port and an area in shore.

Composed of represen- tatives from Valencia 2007, along with four architects (Ourania Klout- sinioni from Greece, Jaime Lerner from Brazil, Cui Kai from China, and Donald Lambert from the Netherlands), the Jury announced two winners.

The two winners projects are represented by Nouvel and GMP, who will mix up their ideas to make the best final project, who will include leisure, amazing parks, and beautifull skycrapers.

In the future, the shoreline of Valencia near Port America’s Cup may include a river delta and two twin towers of 230 meters tall who pretends to simulate the 'V' of Valencia that you'll see coming from the sea
