The Danish Open, Stage 2 of the
, Stage 2 of the 2006-’07 World Tour, is set to
begin tomorrow with the competition raced in Skovshoved
(DEN) from the 9th to 13th August.
The field of 12 teams features the top eight skippers
on the World Tour Tour leaderboard, including No.
1 Ian Williams (GBR).
There also are five crews representing syndicates
for the 32nd America’s Cup.
Locally, the most anticipation surrounds Jesper
Bank (DEN). Skipper of Team Germany, the event’s
reigning champion has returned to try and make it
two in a row.
