First day of the competition, fair northern wind was blowing up to 30 knots providing the competitors under Sustipan with great regatta field and competition.

Young Australian Torvar Mirsky started the best and won the first round robin scoring seven points. He is followed by Italian Paolo Cian who scored one point less and Phillipe Presti who scored four points.

Eugeny Neugodnikov and Damien Iehl both scored three points while Ian Anslie and Björn Hansen scored two. At last position is our Dario Kliba scoring one point.

Although it was announced that Cro-a-Sail's crew will participate at the ACI Match Race Cup 2007, due to the illness of their helmsman Darko Hajdinjak, the team had to forfeit. Hajdinjak's substitute Tonc'i Stipanovic' also had to withdraw because of the lack of time for adequate training and completely altered crew.

Thus only eight sailing teams competed this year.
