The final two will race
in a best-of-nine series (where the first team to win five races
wins all) in January to meet Team New Zealand for the cup, also
in a best-of-nine series.
The winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup Finals takes the Pui Forcat-crafted
silver trophy and becomes the Challenger, the team that will race
the Defender, Team New Zealand, for the America’s Cup. |
